Places To Ski And Snowboard In Washington – Crystal Mountain

September 12, 2016

If you are looking for a winter getaway full of skiing and snowboarding, you may be looking into the abundant options found in Washington. With locations in Washington such as our Silver Cove RV Resort, we have learned the lay of the land and want to share some information about Crystal Mountain, located in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.

With 50 ski runs spanning over 2,600 acres, Crystal Mountain is the largest ski resort in Washington state. The park has invested 30 million dollars over the past decade to provide high speed lifts that can accommodate over 19,588 people per hour, terrain expansion that provides 57 designated trails for all skill levels, and amenities such as dining facilities on-site that provide much-needed sustenance after a day of skiing or snowboarding.

The resort offers more than just pristine ski slopes. Snowshoeing is also welcomed and Crystal Mountain provides snowshoeing packages that include equipment rentals, a guided tour, and dinner. Gondola rides are offered year-round and give each guest the opportunity to soak in the surroundings from a bird’s eye view. Experienced snowboarders and skiers can take advantage of the Sasquatch Terrain Park where various tubes, boxes, rails, and jumps make for an adrenaline-fueled ride!

The entertainment doesn’t end on the trails as two of the resort’s on-site offerings act as venues for live music and special events. The entertainment information can be accessed here or via Crystal Mountain’s events calendar.

Like most modern ski resorts, you can access weather information, condition reports, and live video feeds so you can plan accordingly. For the most accurate information, click here shortly before your arrival and view the current conditions on the mountain.

Even if you plan on visiting Silver Cove RV Resort during warmer seasons, you can enjoy the area’s hiking trails, disc golf course, and guided horseback rides! For more information, visit
