Portable and Affordable Luxury Camping Items

June 16, 2015

As the influence of glamping spreads out across campgrounds and RV Resorts (including ours here at Highway West Vacations), the need for portable and affordable luxury camping items has increased as world travelers want to travel inexpensively, travel light, and travel often without forfeiting modern conveniences.

The team over at Lotus Belle has met this growing demand by developing yurt-style tents that are incredibly spacious (up to 16 feet in diameter) and portable. And by portable, we aren’t talking able to fit in the bed of an oversized truck, we are talking duffel bag portable. The duffel bag (included with the tent) measures 4ft x 1.3 x 1.3, making it able to fit in the trunk of any normal size vehicle.

The “why” is obvious but you may be wondering: “how does it work?” “What is it made of?” “How do I get one?” And “Who has one that I can check out?”

The tent is made from a canvas exterior and a floor fashioned from the same durable PVC that is used by kayak manufacturers. The 10 support poles and numerous guy lines help keep the tent standing strong under the harshest weather conditions.

By finding a space that is ten feet larger than your tent’s diameter, you can easily set up the tent in 45 minutes by yourself. With help from others, you can have the tent up in as little as 15 minutes!

When it comes to camping items, sometimes seeing is truly believing. The team at Lotus Belle has customers all over the US and if you contact them, they will be more than happy to get you in touch with a customer near you so you can see one of the tents set up in its natural habitat.

Lotus Belle tents start at $1,800 and for the frequent vacationer, this investment can pay off quickly. For more information visit www.lotusbelle.com.

As always, the team here at Highway West Vacations will continue to find the latest in camping gear that helps save our guests a few dollars and a few headaches, so pay us a visit online at www.highwaywestvacations.com or at one of our RV resorts as you travel the highway west.
