May 04, 2016
It has often been said that spending money on experiences can make us feel more fulfilled than buying material objects. If you don’t believe us, ask the folks over at SmileShare.me. We may feel richer on payday but the real world benefits of traveling not only include making you feel happier but can help you become more successful in your career and beyond.
If you still aren’t convinced, just take a look at a few of our Real Vacation Stories submitted by our guests:
We just completed a one week stay at Moab Valley RV Resort and Campground. It was a very positive and enjoyable experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, from the moment we checked in and realized that we had miss-booked the reservation by one day. The staff were able to accommodate us even though it was our fault. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. Even though we brought our RV we ended up using the showers provided. The hot water was abundant. We used the laundry and were pleasantly surprised to find that the machines had credit card readers so we didn't have to run around trying to find quarters. The staff were very attentive and seemed to keep a close eye on what was going on in the park. We look forward to being able to stay there on our next trip to Moab.
Where do we go for our next "girls" adventure........Let's go to Borrego and I'll drive down the motorhome. Where do we stay? I haven't stayed at the Palm Canyon Hotel & RV Resort since they changed it around so let's give that a try. Well, the experience was wonderful. Everything from getting the wonderful cookies at check-in, to the free coffee in the morning, to the really clean facility, and great support staff. Thank you for a great trip.
Arrived in Moab on Easter weekend to ride a few trails on our mountain bikes. Didn't realize that the 50th annual Jeep Safari was in full swing! Called Canyonlands and secured their last camp spot. Campground was full of big RV's and jeeps. We were driving a 1/2 ton pickup with a pop-up camper. Great location, right downtown. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great shower and bathroom facilities and they were always clean even with a very full campground. I thought the Jeep crowd would be a raucous bunch but they, like us were tired after a full day of trails and hit the hay early. Local PD patrolled the campground as well. We will stay here again on every future trip to Moab! Great place!!
