Things To Do in Washington – Treehouse Island

July 24, 2017

Silverlake might not be the first place that comes to mind when most people think of Washington but besides being home to our Silver Cove RV Resort, the area offers a 50 acre paradise better known as Treehouse Island.

Treehouse Island offers six different zipline courses that weave their way through an impressive array of Cedar, Ash, Maple, and Fir Trees. Your journey begins with a boat ride to the island. Upon arrival, trusted guides will fill you in on the process and provide you with helmets, harnesses, and gloves. Now you’re ready to zipline!

Once you complete your first line, you will use a series of bridges and ladders to make your way towards the next course. The longest cable line spans a distance of 600 feet and the tallest course will place you 75 feet up in the air!

That’s not all that the island has to offer. Once you have completed all six courses, you can explore various trails, catch some fish, unwind by one of the campfire pits, or enjoy a picnic. This private island is a great place for groups or corporate retreats as they also specialize in team building events.

For an even better idea of how much fun Treehouse Island can be, check out this video or visit their photo gallery. Rumor has it that it’s a unique place in that it makes people of all ages feel like a kid again! It’s also the number one rated attraction in the area.

Due to its popularity, reservations are recommended. Visit to plan your visit and while you’re at it, stop by to book accommodations while staying in the area. Our Silver Cove RV Resort is a stone’s throw away from the wild and wonderful world of Treehouse Island!
